better than knock-off products,

I bought an off-brand shooting adapter for wii games and it lasted about 6 hours before the trigger broke. This has a much more solid construction. The sights work great and the various ways to utilize the product make it wonderful for different types of games. I read the review about needing the screwdriver to take the nunchuk in and out - that is simply not the case - just apply a little pressue and it snaps in and out just fine.

It looks cool and it's also sturdy, but I'm afraid the winning qualities end there. My use of this accessory isn't extensive since I've only played "House of the Dead - Overkill" and "Dead Rising - Chop Till You Drop," but based on the game play the aiming and enabling of guns as secondary weapons was a painful task. In Dead Rising the guns were secondary weapons and could only be enabled by depressing and holding the primary trigger with your index finger, aim, and then fire the weapon by depressing the secondary trigger with your middle finger. I'm not a guitar player, so this isn't an easy exercise to continue doing time after time during an hour of game play. In the end I just discarded the item and played without this accessory at all.My suggestion is not to cave to impulse and buy one of these. Use the Wii remote exclusively. Think about it; Nintendo has spent tons of money in R&D trying to find the most comfortable grip to allow you to potentially play addictive games for hours. These companies that have come out with these accessories spend much less in R&D and rely on flash instead of function to sell their products. If you're still set on purchasing a Wii gun, make sure to try a friend's gun before you buy (if possible).

Very Cheap - Junk!,

The Short - Move on and keep lookingThe Long: Just RMA'ed. I was looking at all the current options and wanted an all-in-one gun... This seemed to be the perfect fit. Well they made it look pretty but forgot the most important thing -- Making it functional. You are supposed to be able to work the A and B buttons from this gun - NOPE! The A button was either away pressed (or the slider just didn't slide) and the B button only worked some of the times. Just so you know I bought two - both had the same issues. My controllers would not fit either; I could not snap the controller down tight - poor design issue. When I would move the gun down (to crouch in a game) the controller would fly out. Very unsafe. I cannot say enough bad stuff - I'm really frustrated. Glad Amazon had no issue with returning. I would mention they should just pull it from the site.

I wouldn't want it if it was free,

This gun was terrible. I figured out how to get the nunchuck in without having to unscrew anything but it was still bad. It took me a while to figure out that I had to take my battery cover off in order to get the controller to fit properly. Even then when I would pull the B button trigger the controller would pop out making it useless. Also the A buttong trigger didn't work at all. Very disappointing. I am returing it now.

Horrible Product,

I bought this gun to go with the Call of Duty Wii game. First of all the controller didn't quite fit in the top section of the gun. When we finally jammed it in, the trigger didn't connect with the remote button AT ALL so you pretty much couldn't shoot anything. The nunchuck didn't fit according to the instructions (because those were horrible also). It wouldn't clip in, and we realized that we had to unscrew part of the piece off to make it fit, and put the screws back in. This was no-where on the instructions. We would have had to do that everytime we played. It is a HORRIBLE gun, and not worth the money. After several attempts to make it fit differently, things just didn't work (and we still couldn't shoot anything). We returned it and ended up getting the Wii gun which is 100 times better. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! It will be a waste of your time. I rate this product a 1 only because I'm pretty sure you can't rate something as a zero.

Works fine but... to insert the nunchuck you must use a screwdriver to remove a plastic support, insert the nunchuck, lock it and screw the suport back.In other words, you will not be able to use your nunchuk alone unless you unscrew it again, if it could be inserted as a "click" it would be better.

I can't really complain about the product in that it for the most part does what it is designed to do. It did not feel as accurate as pointing a real weapon at a spot and hitting the target. The target you hit is off a small bit on the screen from where you point. But, you adjust to that difference and then it works fairly well. If you don't use it a lot and you get a good price, I would recommend it. If you are real picky about it, I think you may be disappointed.

The blaster works as advertised. All the buttons work like they are supposed to work. The only problem is the rechargeable battery packs that we have are too big for the blaster. We have to switch to regular batteries for the wiimote to fit into the blaster. Playing the games with the blaster is EXTREMELY difficult. I played world at war and cabela's hunting game. There is a big learning curve to use it and I just gave up. It made the moving around too sensitive on world at war and it is hard to reload on the cabela's game. Personally I think the Wii is just not made for shooter games. The blaster works, but you need to take the time to learn to use it. If you can get through the frustration of learning to use it, then I would recommend getting the blaster.

While I like the overall idea of this setup, the two separate guns easily separates at the most inopportune time...often disconnecting the controls from each other, thus stopping the game. Other than that, it does take some getting used to the controls (using it for Call of Duty: World at War) but once that is figured out, it is pretty good for the money.
