Product Description

CTA DIGITAL WI-SG Shot Gun for Nintendo Wii. Pinpoint your laser guided target and blast virtual rounds of ammo with the Shotgun from CTA Digital. This plastic shotgun possesses a very life like mold, yet its white plastic color prevents it from being mistaken for an actual shotgun. To operate, place the Wii Remote in the top cradle of the gun and the Wii Nunchuk in its outer stock. After attaching the controllers, manage the wires by using the cable slot and close the top covers. On the sides of the magazine loading port are buttons marked C and Z that allow you to simultaneously press the corresponding buttons on the Wii Nunchuk. Pull the trigger and you will press the B button located under the Wii Remote. For pinpoint accuracy, a button under the trigger activates an infrared laser beam located in the barrel screw of the magazine tube. Adding to the coolness factor of its appearance is the aesthetic possibilities created by the inter changeable barrel / magazine tube and stock. Take off the stock and sport the sawed off look ala Terminator 2 or remove the front barrel and you will have a compact blaster. Loaded to the teeth with these features, this heavy duty piece of video game artillery is ready to wreak vicious obliteration.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, not great., August 27, 2008

Has a heavy solid feel to it and the trigger is a bit stiff out of the box. I found that if you open the gun up and add lubricant to the area that allows parts to slide more freely, you can make the trigger a little smoother. Without these modifications, it become tiring and a chore to play light gun games. The product itself however is built pretty well aside from the stiff trigger issues.

1.0 out of 5 stars I really tried to like this gun., August 23, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Shot Gun (Accessory)
I was excited and really wanted this gun. The product looks very nice, however does not function well. I have tried it repeatedly and the targeting jumps around on screen not allowing for an accurate shot. The lazer sight is a blob of red on the t.v. which is more distracting than usefull. You also have to hold the button down for the lazer to stay on so very impractical. Finaly there is a long delay from the time you pull the trigger until it reacts in game. It is really too bad I very much wanted a realistic looking gun to play Wii shooting games but unfortunatly this is not the one. I have returned mine, maybe someone else will have better luck but be careful.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Shot Gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, August 25, 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Shot Gun (Accessory)
Look no further for a Wii shot gun it's a lot easier and satisfying to play shooting games with this shot gun. The quality of this particular shotgun is top notch probably the best on the market. Very much like being at the arcade. I hope more light gun games come out for the Wii because this thing makes the it feel like a true arcade experience. The gun makes shooting games much more involving and realistic than playing with just the remote. This is a great accessory. I bought this shotgun for myself and my girl friend is freaking out. She just doesn't want to stop playing with my gun.
