Wii controller doesn't fit inside this nearly as well as the Nintendo one, but it works okay.

This type of steering wheel is okay. However, I personally like the more round steering wheel that came with the Mario Kart game. It has a small round piece that matches the end of the Wii remotes, so the connection is definite. It also has an added B button. When you put the Wii remote inside the round steering wheel as opposed to the oval wheel, you use the button that comes with the round steering wheel. The oval wheel uses the remote's B button. Not that it matters much...

This product was poorly made. Once the Wii remote is inserted into the steering wheel, there is no opening for the remote sensor to communicate with the Wii sensor bar. Therefore, the combination of the Wii remote and the steering wheel is rendered obsolete to the Wii console. I would return this product, but it was only $10.00.

For the money, this is about as good as it gets. Yes, you can buy slightly heftier and somewhat higher quality wheels in the 15-20 dollar range, but that's 25-50% more money, and they certainly aren't 25-50% better. I'm satisfied. I got what I paid for and it's a very good product. Recommended.

Product works great once I trimmed a little of the plastic around the strap hole is. The locking mechanism for the wrist strap just barely didn't fit through the designated hole for it. I just took a flat head screw driver and ran it around the hole to open it up a little more. Once this was done, it fit perfectly and works great.
