5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game, great and durable dance mat
this game is a lot of fun, and a great workout! I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. It has an aerobics mode on it as well as all the different dancing levels. Getting this dance mat with it is definately worth it. It isn't a thin mat that you are expecting. You put foam squares in the mat to make it thicker, making it more comfortable to dance on and it...

Agreeing w/R. Bauer and the other reviewer who noted the cheap zipper and the poor fit between foam insert and cover. Even reading the reviews first, and being extra-careful while inserting the foam, I still had the zipper burst in 2 places when I gently tried to zip the cover closed--and the zipper pull broke off in my hand! Daughter says having a padded mat is a big improvement over the roll-up mat that comes with the game, but this product is very shoddy.

Works with Hottest Party 3 (if you have enough duct tape in lieu of zipper). Requires 4 AA batteries, not included.

I have purchased this item twice now, based on the wonderful reviews I have read here, however
I have yet to even try it out!
The first one I bought had to be returned because the mat, which comes in 6 puzzle shaped pieces, had duplicate #5 pieces and no piece #6, so I couldn't even put it together!
The replacement arrived in two days, and the pieces were all there and fit together! YAY! However, the cheap plastic zippers that zip the mat into the arrow pad were off their zipper track and could not be zipped closed.
Mat #2 is also being returned, yet unused!
Maybe the 3rd time is a charm? I will let you know once I get the next replacement...

This would not sync up with the Wii Game "Walk It Out"!
This info. should be in the item description.
What a hassle- returning it and ordered pad by the same
company that makes the game-Konami.
This is my first item review on Amazon after many orders,
but I think other customers should be aware of this problem.

Getting this dance mat with it is definately worth it. It isn't a thin mat that you are expecting. You put foam squares in the mat to make it thicker, making it more comfortable to dance on and it holds the mat in the place you want it -- no accidents from the mat slipping out from under you. I would definately recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great dance pad!, March 3, 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Wii Wireless Dance Mat with Foam Pad (Accessory)
I have had this dance pad a couple weeks now and it is great! It is not wimpy at all and is very sensitive to your movements. You don't have to be exactly on the arrow for it to pick up your move. The thick foam makes it more comfortable to use than those thin flimsy ones. The wireless ability is great, too. No cords to trip over or get tangled up. And you can be further from the tv if you need to be. I would definately recommend this dance pad!

This is waaaay better than the dance pad that came with the game. First of all, it is wireless. That alone would be great but the foam pad is awesome. The pad makes the pad feel much more responsive.

This is an annoying product that could have been great. Both Zippers that have to close the cover over the pads failed to close at all. Cheap material used in zippers (soft metal) opened up and zippers became unusable. We had to jerry the cover over the pads because the kids wanted to use it now not wait for the return(Christmas gift). I'm looking for new zippers to install myself. As others have said, you can never store it again in pieces always as a whole piece. The touch pad part works well but the zipper shortcut by the manufacturer makes it overpriced and frankly unsafe. If the cover doesn't continue to enclose the pads then there is slipping with the movement and the pads eventually move out of position. With all the posts about this zipper problem, I see recall in their future. Dance to that Intec.

1.0 out of 5 stars VERY Poor Materials!!, January 24, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Wii Wireless Dance Mat with Foam Pad (Accessory)
I shop from Amazon.com a LOT. And the reason that I shop at Amazon is because I really don't have the time to shop at stores. It's much easier to purchase items online. Moreover, I rarely return items. I purchased this for Christmas and just got around this afternoon to assembling it. And BOTH zippers on the item broke. It is constructed VERY poorly. (And trust me. I was quite careful about inserting the foam so that the zippers would close.)

I called Customer Service and was very hesitant about getting a replacement mat after reading all the negative reviews which state that the zippers are defective. Because even though I will have free shipping, I'm still going to have to package it all up and go to the post office. They refused to give me a REFUND. They DID tell me that if the next one is defective, that they will then offer me a refund. Frankly, I really hope the next mat WILL work because I think this would be a great item to have; I mean that is why I ordered it in the first place.

However, if I have to return the next one....the SUPERVISOR is going to be hearing from me.

I ordered two of these at the same time. While assembling them the zippers broke on both rendering them unusable. Terrible design and cheaply made.

Everything worked great and you can use the pad to select songs, scroll through menu's, etc. HOWEVER: IF the mat/pad appears to disable itself as soon as the dancing starts, try plugging the pad into a different port (3 ot 4)! This should be a BIG sticker with that info on the box. The instructions are pretty lacking..
