I purchased and paid for a WII microphone for Guitar Hero. The item was listed as NEW. The item I received was not new and did not work. Appears that someone purchased it, swung it around like a rock singer, and twisted the wires inside the microphone as we took it apart and had to fix it ourselves. When I purchased and pay for an item that says it is NEW, I expect that it is NEW and NEVER BEEN USED. I would not recommend anyone purchase from seller.

My nine year old son spent [...] of his birthday money to buy this microphone for his Wii Guitar Hero. It didn't work very well initially (first several times). He has owned it for about 6 weeks and it doesn't work at all. Wish we knew how to obtain a refund from Amazon.

The mic works fine and it is easily installed. I just plugged it into one of the USB ports of my wii and it works for Guitar Hero.

I wouldn't know about this product because I have not received it. Amazon.com said to email the company before reviewing the product, which I did. I have yet to receive a reply from the company about why I have not yet received my product. If I don't get it soon, I will be demanding a refund. The product might be good, but don't get it from the company I ordered from, which is CYG.

This is an adequate replacement mic for RockBand. My originally mic quit working, but I did not want to spend $50 on another RockBand mic. This one was less than half the price. One bad thing is the cord is not as long as the mic cord that comes with the original game.

Let's face it, this microphone is cheap. You get what you pay for. It works, but the top frequently falls off and I have to put it back on. Sound quality isn't great, but it does the job for Rock Band or Guitar Hero. I also use it for my weekly radio show as it will plug into my PC through the USB port and magically work with no drivers or software. If you just want something cheap to play games with, get it. If I was gonna record my voice for music, I'd spend more money and get a better quality mic.
