The students love it!

I am sure you do not have to do this, but the cards felt a little sticky to me without doing it.

My son is learning how to form letters and this is a great tool to help them get started.

I love the cards, but they really need to be laminated... the wikki stix are leaving residue on them and I'm worried I'm not going to get another year out of them. They are good for fine motor skills, which is really what I use them for anyway.

I gave my son this for Christmas. He drew pictures using the Wikki Stix on a dry erase board (I got a nice dry erase lap board from Tag Toys) while he was in the car. The Wikki Stix come stuck to a piece of plastic, and can be restuck there for storage. These are made in the USA, so I trust them more than I would the cheaper Bendaroos. He hasn't shown a real interest in the Alphabet Cards yet, but I'm hoping to steer him more towards educational uses once the holidays are over. Literally kept him occupied for two hours, even without using the cards.

I bought both Wikki Stix and Bendaroos. Although some claim they are the same, I personally think Wikki Stix have better quality. They both stick well, but with Wikki Stix, your hands don't end up getting sticky after you're done playing with them. With Bendaroos, your hands do end up needing a wash. Also, Bendaroos are harder to untangle and straighten out when they clump together (my daughter likes to make little round balls with them). You may be thinking that Bendaroos will stick better or last longer, but no, they both last about the same. I recommend both products because they are just wonderful quiet toys - I just think Wikki Stix are less mess. They don't take up much room so I take them everywhere: to church, to doctor's office, on long car drives for my daughter to play with.

This is a great little set. Although my 3 1/2 year old is very familiar with both upper and lower case letters, she has not yet begun to write and I think this is a fun pre-writing activity for her.

I ended up cutting several of the sticks in half or in thirds in order for her to make the letters properly. I loved watching her figure out which size to use. And I like that there are a variety of colors of Wikki Sticks in the set.

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the Wikki Sticks do leave a residue on the pages. I ended up rubbing a dry paper towel on them after we used them and was able to get most of it off but I just wish this step was not necessary to make them clean. I am sure you do not have to do this, but the cards felt a little sticky to me without doing it.

My son is learning how to form letters and this is a great tool to help them get started. The sticks are fun anyway and he loves making letters and shapes with them. I just wish there were more sticks that come with the package so we could make all the letters at once without having to make a separate purchase.

This was not at all what I had hoped it to be. The wiki sticks don't stick to the card, and there is only one size wiki stick which has to be folded when tracing lower case letters. More frustrating for children than actually helping them learn a different way to learning letters.

These cards are fantastic! They only downside is that they only come with a few stix. I suggest buying the huge pack of bendaroos because they are a lot cheaper and these things have to get really dirty. Kids love this product and I very highly recommend it!
