Our club gave these to dining kids rather than crayons and my 9 yr. old son had me order more from Amazon the very next day. He even bought them for his 11 & 13 yr. old sisters as b-day gifts and they love them too. They create linked words, jewelry, figures, braids...possibilities are endless!

A friend of mine used these for a party. Guests got a selection of wikki stix to decorate their wine glasses so they could tell them apart. A fun idea!

I was a little nervous after reading various negative reviews when considering purchasing Wikki Sticks for my 5-year-old daughter. Primarily, I read about them being sticky and messy, and since I have virtually outlawed PlayDough in my house, this caused no little concern. However, the Wikki Sticks are perfectly clean. They don't leave much if any "sticky residue," as I read in one complaint. They certainly don't cause "tracking" in any way. They are easily manipulated and contorted by my little girl's hands (which are small and not exceptionally strong). The only complaint I would have is that there are no "molds" or "forms" for which she can follow to make things. She doesn't seem to mind, however. She is perfectly happy to make little scrunched-up balls. So, in short, I think the Wikki Sticks are a good, safe, and educational (inspiring some imagination) toy. I am happy with this purchase!

If you have children, you need wiki sticks. Any age, any interests, any anything. The kids can use Wiki sticks. I have enjoyed seeing the multitude of creative ideas my daughter has had for them. Of course, kinesthetic learners can really this sort of "hands-on" training for letters and shapes. Trust me, you can't go wrong with these things. They make a great birthday gift for the child you don't know too. You WILL find them stuck and wrapped around any number of things in your house, but they are just waxy strings and pull right off. I have never had anything stained by them either.

My 7 year old daughter makes jewelry with these and enjoys making different color combinations. They are a quiet and clean activity and she uses them over and over. They are good for in the car. We store them in a resealable bag.
