Wild Australia - The EDGE was filmed entirely in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. It was commissioned for and is shown exclusively at THE EDGE CINEMA at Katoomba, and has to be seen to be believed.

This film will take you to places that you could never hope to experience, and will take you to ancient protected forests, through mountain ravines, abseil down gushing waterfalls, swim through cave pools and plunge down vertical cliffs.

Only a large TV or Projector can fully do justice to this film, but still not quite as magnificent to the actual film itself. So watch the DVD, wet your appitite - then come out to Australia and see & experience the real Movie and the Blue Mountains for yourself.

A great movie in the IMAX tradition - You will not be disappointed.

Don't be put off by the 1-star reviewer. This is a wonderful movie, not only for the breathtaking country of the Blue Mountains, but also for the astounding story of the discovery of the Wollemi Pine. Best seen at the IMAX, but pretty impressive on a large-screen TV.

Loved this DVD - I am so glad - and privileged - to live in Australia. Best place in the world! Most stunning photography, and wonderful musical accompaniment. Particularly I enjoyed the didgeridoo - it was almost speaking! Thanks. Gwen
