We recently moved to our neighborhood and surprisingly found that two bluebirds live in the area. We know how scarce they have been in recent years and want to help them as much as we can, to survive and proliferate. This book is exactly what we needed. It has everything we there is to know about bluebirds, from what to feed them and how to build or purchase a house that they may nest in, without fear of other birds disturbing them. It is a great book!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Eastern Bluebird review, June 13, 2010

This book is an explanation of the Eastern Bluebird in great detail. It cover virtually all aspects of its behavior and habits, territorial needs, feeding behavior, defense, nest box needs and many other aspects of their survival. While somewhat scientific in its coverage and detail, it is not a difficult read. Indeed, the book is a mere 107 pages with contextual pictures on every page. If you want to understand the Eastern Bluebird, this book is a one stop shop. It will also provide you with insights to the behavior of birds in general. A great book.

This review is from: Wild Bird Guide: Eastern Bluebird (Wild Bird Guides) (Paperback)
This is a beautiful and informative book all about the Eastern Bluebird. I have a bluebird trail at my house in Wisconsin as part of BRAW. This book was easy to read, not too technical, not too simplistic.
