5.0 out of 5 stars Senese has the skill to present clever horror tales August 8, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Buck and Henry were prospecting for gold in the wild north in this clever horror tale. Henry took one of the two dog teams and traveled the long distance to town to bring supplies. The dogs that remained began to whine and howl. Buck grabbed his rifle and went out. It was a lone wolf. This was strange because wolves hunted in packs. What was going on? It attacked him and bit him. He was in great pain. Days went by. He couldn't eat, only drink. He heard howling from the distant woods and ran out. He saw a rabbit, chased it, pounced upon it, sunk his teeth into it, chewed until it was dead, satisfied his hunger, and let out a howl. Henry returned a few days later and Buck rushing forward on all fours attacked him and bit into his shoulder.... I leave all the details and the ending of this fine tale for your reading enjoyment.
