Lovely Images, Not Much Info,

This book has some of the loveliest photographs that I have seen. Most of the images are full page size, with several two-page spreads. This is the perfect book for anyone wanting pictures of bobcats, lynx, or pumas, however, there is not a great deal of information provided. I would personaly refer anyone looking for a wealth of information on these cats to ~Forest Cats of North America: Cougar, Bobcat, Lynx~ by Jerry Kobalenko. Nonetheless, Savage's images ~are~ superior to Kobalenko's, so the buyer should take into consideration what they are looking for. I, for one, am glad to have both.

Wild Cats is a great book for our art class.Jeff Tift well known wildlife artist/teacher had a copy ,the class thought it was a good reference for eyes,hair detail work to use at home. Amazon's a good place to shop for used & new
