The Wild Cookie is best-selling author Dave Johnson's first children's book. It is the tale a young boy spins to explain why his fingers are covered in chocolate.
Designed for ages 3 to 8, The Wild Cookie uses proven instructional methods with fun, colorful graphics, sound, and music to keep kids entertained while they learn to read and reinforce their existing learning skills. Since the story is about an independent-minded confection, every page hides a special cookie with its own unique personality. When discovered, the cookie amuses readers and then hides again, apparently prizing his privacy.
