Spare time rapping...,

When you have spare time don't go into a recording studio and put down anything. If you're gonna make an album...take it seriously because your care will show in the music. This advice should've been given to Sadat X before went he into the booth to record this garbage! Even though he had all guest stars on this album and brought in big name talent to produce...none of that could've saved this. When Sadat X rapped he sounded tired like he slept in the booth, had just woken up, and somebody handed him a mic. The beats literally sound like all the DJ's were clowning him. His guest stars all of them sounded better than the real star. When you get spanked on your own album by someone you invited to be on it...its time to take an extended vacation and think about retiring! My advice: Listen before making an investment!

this cd is ok. he has a few bangers but for the most part the beats are generic and sadat might need to give it up after this one. he cant keep up lyrical anymore. hes all over the place on some tracks.

I have to respectfully disagree with the reviewer who says Sadat sounds tired on this disc. Laid-back maybe, but he is still coming with some really nice lyrics and an understated passion here. Also, some of the beats may sound generic, but there are a surprising number of bangers for a modern day release. I'm not one to give every album I like 4 or 5 stars, but in light of the dismal star count this disc has gotten so far, I'm upping my review on what would have been a 2.5 to 3 star disc back in the golden age, but sounds like classic material in these days of buffoon/clown-rap.
