This disc shows what a true giant of the piano Earl Wild was. Nothing seemed to be impossible for his talent. His performances are great. His own "Doo Dah" variations for piano and orchestra are great fun, impossibly difficult for the amateur to play more than a very small number of the variations. The Gershwin Concerto shows his feeling for the jazzy medium A great disc.
