2.0 out of 5 stars Not a good example of his work. Disappointing.
The mention of a man who gets a thrill out of abusing a woman sexually and then killing her has no place in a Fabio novel. I know that he has coauthors but the woman who coauthored this novel must not be in sync with the Fab. Romance Fabio, Romance!!!! No abuse of women in your books even if the abuse does not involve the main characters:-

4.0 out of 5 stars Made For TV Movie, May 18, 2008
By
This review is from: Wild (Paperback)
This could be one of those Sunday night made for TV movies, really. Interesting plot with plenty of twists and turns, well-developed characters and the storyline is very plausible. One thing missing for me was the "fluff" factor as I waited for the intimate scenes to really heat up they never really reached a fever pitch, like Rogue did for me, yet the rest of the storyline was all there. You won't believe it as it gets near the end. Oh, the "so-called" violence towards women, just added to intesity and excitment of the book, nice tension builder.

Fabio, keep up the sexy ideas, your better than you may be getting credit for.

Did not like the writing style. I think he should have stayed with Eugenia Riley.

1.0 out of 5 stars just plain bad, July 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wild (Paperback)
I can't believe it's not butter? I can't believe this guy is a writer! The characters don't make any sense, they are all two dimentional, predictable, and have no motivation beyond their own carnal desire. Real people are not like this, and yes, I know, it's fiction...but as Mark Twain once said, "fiction has to make sense". Nothing about this book did.

1.0 out of 5 stars don't judge a book by it's cover, July 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wild (Paperback)
I've heard friends say Fabio should make a movie out of his books, yet this will not be the one. The characters are flat, and the villians have no complexity behind them at all. I knew from the begining how it would end, and that is not romance. Really disappointing work.

1.0 out of 5 stars I can't belive this guy's a writer!, June 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wild (Paperback)
In our day and age of bad literature, it takes a pretty face to land a book deal, not talent. Can't write, hire a co-author. To bad she can't write either. Nothing saves this work from sinking faster than the Titanic. No wonder JD Salinger is in hiding, he's embarrished. So am I.

This book was a joke... Fabio should just stick to his... "I can't believe it's not butter" commercials... I would give this book a half a star if possible. I would also give a longer review if I didn't find this book to be a utter waste of my time and money!

1.0 out of 5 stars take away his word processer, June 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wild (Paperback)
the French have a word for books like this..."Le Pew!" This guy is supposed to be romantic? and he treats his women as two dimentional characters who can be beaten and killed? Please, give a contract to some starving author who can write a novel. This is why I stick to reading the classics.
