Melanie is a heroine I just loved. She was so human!, December 14, 1997

This review is from: Wild Fire (The Beaumont Brides, Part 3) (Paperback)
Melanie is a soap star, but she wants to be taken seriously so she decides to do something serious. A real job. She gets involved in helping women set up their own business to get out from under an awful employer and, classically, she falls in love with a man she works for. He isn't exactly immune despite her awful disguise ... but he doesn't quite trust her either. This book is fun. Look out for Liz Fielding's Harlequin romances, they are great too.

Three Brides, three great books., December 13, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Wild Fire (The Beaumont Brides, Part 3) (Paperback)
Melanie Beaumont decides she's had enough of playing dizzy blondes in TV dramas and enough of her family. When she's challenged to take on the real world, she disguises herself and takes on a cleaning job. But this reverse Cinderella discovers that when she steps back into her real life things don't quite go according to plan. Her heartless Prince Charming has fallen in love with his cleaner and he just doesn't trust this sudden switch. Jack is a hero for any girl's wish list and Melanie is adorable. This book is just enormous fun to read.
