I bought this in September of 2011 and it has taken some pretty cool video of deer on the back part of our property as I would have hoped. There was even some night shots that were pretty cool, but no night shots in quite some time. I occassionaly check it to see if there has been any recent activity, and on my most recent check I found the screw heads on the inside cover were covered with rust. I was very surprised and disappointed to find this out. The camera is intended to be used outdoors, but yet they didnt use stainless steel screws on the cover?? Would it have cost too much to use stainless steel or galvinized screws? Overall its pretty cool and does what I purchased it for. I have not yet needed to charge the battery.

I bought this unit to replace a 4 year old Moultrie Camera that had stopped working. The pulse 10X takes nice pictures when it takes them but I live in New England and this camera shuts off when the temps get around 30 and below, which makes it pretty useless in the weeks leading up to deer season when you need it the most. I have pictures taken with my Moultrie as low as 19 degrees. I also bought the YN-1 wireless unit for it despite the bad reviews on it, the reviews were right, its junk. When I called Wildgame Inovations about the YN-1 they told me I could return it but they are out of stock and it would be 2 to 3 months to get it replaced, I also asked him about the camera not working in the cold and he told me that is normal for their cameras. I returned them both they do me no good. I think the camera would be good if you live in a warmer area where the temps stay above freezing, I put mine out on a warm day aimed at my bird feeder and it took some very nice pictures and videos. I could only get night pictures with it in the house due to the outside temps. and they were good at a distance but anything closer then 15 to 20 feet got washed out from the bright IR lights. The wireless module, a great idea, is junk. Wildgame Inovations customer is not that great it took me three calls and about 1 1/2 hours on hold to get someone that could answer my questions. Moultrie's support was much better it cost me about $17 with shipping to get the part to fix my 4 year old camera, with 1 phone call and no hold time. I should have done this first. I will not buy another Wildgame inovations camera. But Amazon was great.

I bought this exact model, but not from amazon. Let me just say...I had it 2 months and the infrared no longer works. Night pics are solid black. I wasted A LOT of money on this. I don't have the receipt so I cannot return it to WM. My advice...stick with something cheap. At least you won't feel angry when it stops working.
