About the Author

Neil Gunn was one of Scotland's most distinguished twentieth-century writers. His writing spanned thirty years, ending in the mid-1950s. These two novels show different facets of Gunn's novels in that the first, Second Sight sees the protagonists in typical Highland Scotland, while Wild Geese Overhead is set in Glasgow, a less familiar but no less powerful backdrop for Gunn's fluid and inspiring writing. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.
