My 4yr old daughter loves this entire series. We read them over and over and they are entertaining enough that momma doesn't mind reading them. We buy the series box and give it out for presents at all the birthdays we go to.

The author of the George Brown series books writes to the very heart of what's on the minds of boys in the age group 7-12...she truly understands what makes them tick....burping!!! My son is an advanced reader (not that one needs to be an advanced reader to read the series...that's not my point) & I've tried & tried to encourage him to make the move onto chapter books over the entire past summer. I tried everything I could think of including our usual weekly library trips, purchasing chapter books in his newly found favs (Star Wars), all to no avail. Then by chance, I happened upon a George Brown book in the Kindle reader list I was looking through....& I found that magic piece I needed!! In the past 2 weeks, he's read 6 George Brown chapter books & is asking for MORE!!!! I've never seen him laugh this much in ANY book we've read or he's read,,,EVER! I, too, find the books quite humorous & we ALL look forward to what antics await next as we read the remainder @ each bedtime story-time. There are MANY times we will re-read several chapters so that daddy can catch-up to where we are....& my son never minds re-reading the material cuz it's THAT HILARIOUS!!! One other point I wanted to mention is that this is a series...and does follow a series, although you don't necessarily have to read them in any order whatsoever. I think it would be helpful, though, to begin @ book 1 then go wherever from there, as the author does a wonderful job in EACH book establishing time & place so that the reader never is confused in that regard. THANK YOU, Nancy Krulik....you have helped my child see that there CAN be laughter & FUN in chapter books!!! He's VERY excited to read....always has...& I can tell...he always will!!!

I liked this book so much because, it has super good illustrations and also, all of the detail in them. 2 because it's just a really funny book. 3 because it helps you understand what's going on by the flash backs. And last of all, all of the books I mean that there is not just 2 or 3 like Roscore Rally Rules it's got like 16.
