Anyone who thinks that "One Day as a Lion" is a quaint echo of RATM's glory is sorely mistaken. Zack de la Rocha returns in this EP as a champion of the belittled and a hero of the beleaguered. Although the EP misses the brilliant foundation of Tom Morello's guitar virtuoso, it maintains the raw power of de la Rocha's pounding vocals, and threatens to turn any red blooded American into the next incarnation of Che Guevara. This album is exceptionally powerful if allowed to be.
