4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and funny...
I am hooked on this series!

It's just serious enough in parts that I find myself very curious as to the backstory of the characters, but often hilarious. At first, I found the romance to be somewhat unbelievable...but it's really grown on me.

This is just a straightforward, funny, sweet story. The artwork is a plus to me--the color illustrations...

3.0 out of 5 stars A girly version of Gokusen.
The wild ones is not a bad title, it is just a little bit silly sometimes.

The art is gorgeous, and I like Rakuto's bipolar personality. The problem is Sachie. She is just a bit bland. Her tough chick moments don't look very convincing, and her clueless moments seem a bit forced.

like I said, it is the shounen version of Gokusen. While many young girls will love it. I think it needs more work.

This volume is better than the last 2, we get to see more back story; and the reason why Rakuto likes her so much. Good story, but not great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice, May 1, 2009
This review is from: Wild Ones, Vol. 3 (Paperback)
I would rate this manga perfect for the age group of 13-16. In volume 3, we see a little more development of Rakuto's background. Some parts are more serious than in previous books, but others are slightly more ridiculous. On the whole, it was cute and enjoyable, but not exactly what you'd call deep. Perfect for a light read with an interesting twist on a rainy day.
P.S. The underwear thief story was so funny.

I purchased this book for my fiance, she loves "Wild Ones" and was very impressed with this manga. I can't really sell it to you because if you have read the first two you already know!
