Eye- Link-Communicators!,

If you ever need to talk to your friends or just anyone in secret, this is the one spy gadget you'll need!A mini keyboard with a head set that has an adjustable wrist band. And theres also the part that covers one of your eyes so no one else can see it but you! Communicates up to 200 Ft. even through walls! and when your done typing your message all you have to do is push SEND, and the message will appear in the other persons headset. And just so you know when another person's sending a message there will be a flashing red light! keyboard isn't like the typing keyboard for the computer it's in order from the alphabet, (A B C etc.) Pack comes with two headsets, and is a great toy for kids who have a wonderful imagination or for just about anyone!

Thank You!!!! Whoever thought of this toy!! My son is 12 and profoundly deaf.It is soooo hard to find toys and games for him because all anyone seems to make these days are toys that makes sounds that you need to hear to be able to play them. Also deaf children, have problems with reading,as they have never heard the sounds of the letters and it is very hard to put them together to make sense....imagine yourself reading Chinese or Russian, ect. My son is finally reading at a good level now. But,so many games require reading too. It's very hard for the parent of a deaf child to find anything for birthdays or Christmas.

My 7 year old son and I were in a store where they had a demo set up of the eye link communicators. I thought they were super cool my 7 year old not so. It turns out the reason was two fold. First off most 7 year olds are not great spellers and secondly they are not great typers. I figured that's the perfect reason to get them. It reinforces where the letters are on a keyboard and will help with the spelling. So I went out and got it for the holidays anyhow. Well in the 2 months since we saw them his spelling has improved greatly and he was ready to step up to the challenge. We played with them and they worked well. Set up for an adult as well as a child was easy and learning to adjust the eyepiece so it looks like its "floating" took very little practice. A few times we needed to "reset' one of the communicators but it's just a push of a button with a small point (pen or paperclip will do nicely). The few "problems" we had were clearly explained as sometimes the normal operation and would dissipate within a few minutes (and it did). The one thing you have to get used to is the eye piece will go black if not used for a while but this does not mean it has shut off. As soon as someone sends you a message or you type a message it will turn back on. I kept restarting when in fact I didn't have to. It also means that you must manually shut off each communicator if you are going to conserve the batteries (3 triple A's for each communicator). Fun, way cool looking and educational-can it get any better. Yes it can. They are not flimsy by any stretch of the imagination however; they still need to be handled with delicacy. If you accidentally pull the wire it can break. These are not the type of toy that can be left on a floor and stepped over (or on). They are just too delicate for that but normal wear and tear from the average kid should be fine. A little gentle reminder every so often should go a long way in preserving these for a while. If your child is spy crazy like mine these are a must have.

I think that Spy Eyelink is great! I got this toy a few days ago on Christmas, and I've been playing with it ever since. Spy Eyelink is just like instant messaging, just more fun! It allows you to type secret messages to your friends without anybody knowing what you're talking about. There are a few things that can go wrong, but you can deal with them easily. Every so often the eyelink won't send a message (very rare). If you take too long with a message the eyelink of the person who is not writing the message will turn off, but all you have to do is press a button, and it turns on again. Make sure though that when you wear the eyelink, that you don't keep it on too long, or it might start hurting your head. A lot of times, you might need to continue your message in a second transmission, since you can only type 22 letters at a time. Some people might think that when you see the eyelink, it would be hard to see the message because the eye piece is so small. Don't let that fool you, because you can see perfectly with it. To let you know when a message is coming, a red light flashes in the eye piece. To let you know you your message is being sent, the message that you wrote comes up on your screen as well as on your friend's. So if you want to be a spy when you grow up or just like spy gadgets, then Spy Eyelink is the toy for you!

Eye Link Rocks!! My Freind Got it and gave one to me and it's so cool! The only problem is My friend's house is right next door to my next door neighbor's house (Which is less than 200ft) and we can't communicate. Besides that it rocks!!! It's so easy and you can use up to 22 letters! If you're willing to pay the money for an awesome gadget this is the right thing to get!!!

These walkie talkie thingys are SO fun! They're easy to play with... I rated the durability 3 stars because on one of mine the batteries already ran out but they only take 3 AAA batteries. One problem with it is that I think it's for kids a little bit younger than me because the head set is kinda small and it's not ajustable (only the part you look into is ajustable) and when I'm playing with it with my sister, I always end up taking the part you look into off of the headset and just look at it while holding it up to my eyeball. My sister just keeps it on and complains about it hurting. I think the key-pad is easier to use if you don't strap it to your arm, but my sister says it's easier when you DO strap it to your arm. I'm weird so just go with my sister... strap it to your arm. Overall, this thing is pretty fun... even though I'm a girl and people might think this is just for boys, it's still real fun... I usually use it in my own way, by not wearing the headset and not straping it to my arm because I think it's easier, but hey... that's my opinion. I recomend it to anyone (boys or girls) who like spy kinda stuff...

this toy is great! it can communicate for 200 ft. and even through walls! this isn't recomended for big kids because it may cause your head to hurt when you put it on. the set comes with a mini keyboard you can tie on your wrist. the bad thing is that sometimes when you press one of the buttons (like the letter D for example) it doesn't appear when you send it to your friend. if you are a little distracted by something, you can tell when your friend sent it by seeing a continueous flash. make sure you put it on from the right side because if you put it on the left side then the words will appear upsidedown. the set comes with 2 communicators.

I think the idea of this toy is very cool, but it isnt all that great. The only reason i didnt give this 5 stars is becasue, when you are sending a message and the other person sends a message at the same time, you dont see either of the messages. I think it would be awesome if the keyboard- like thing was glow in the dark, so you can be in the dark and sending messages to a friend. I give this overall a 4 out of 5.

I think this toy is great. My friends and I love to play with it. At first it was a tiny tiny bit hard to figure out but it didn't take long to find out how to work it. You have to know how to read and write to use it. It's a double cool toy! Two people can use it that's the cool part.

I just purchased the Eye Link Communicater last week and it was very fun for me and my friend to use. Although it may hurt your head after a while, because of the headset, it still made us want to keep using them. I think that this prodct is great and that Wild Planet Toys should keep making great items.
