I'm very happy that it is low mercury, but with this quality and taste, I might still eat it if they added mercury. I'm back here ordering my sixth or seventh shipment and this time I just had to leave a review.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. I love tuna and I've tried all the different major brands and many of the smaller. I get excited when I see a type I haven't tried and I snap it up and since trying this, I've always been disappointed. This brand is by far the best I've ever tasted. This particular no salt variety is the best of those, though some of my family and friends disagree on that point.

This is not tuna for making tuna salad or even my favorite dish, the tuna melt, out of. This tuna is so good you eat it straight as it comes from the can. Makes a great tasty snack.

I like that fact that this tuna is tasty and unsalted. The low mercury eases my mind and is the primary reason that I tried it. I have since purchased it again and will continue to do so.

This is just what I've been needing for a power lifting diet, or optimal health in general. The flavor of the meat is not masked by salt. Yet, the aroma is not as overpouring as other brands. Great stuff! Four stars only because it is $3.75 per can.

Check the company's website. They select & cook their tuna differently, and that's what makes their tuna the best. It has the lowest possible mercury (same as salmon and much lower than regular tuna) plus they cook it only once, after it's canned, so all the healthy vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids are still there in the can! Plus, Amazon has it for a great price!

I have to admit, I was skeptical about this purchase both because of the price and my not so good experience with another brand of pricey healthy tuna from another online vendor but the reviews convinced me. And lucky for me they were right on! I am very finicky about fishy smelling and tasting fish - I know I'm a fish snob. This stuff is delicious. I do wish it were less expensive, but the challenge is if more people buy it and hence allow the price to go down, that also means the demand goes up and some places end up compromising their product. I hope this stuff continues to be of the quality I am now spoiled by!

This is the first canned tuna I have purchased since reading that tuna,especially albacore, contains potentially dangerous amount of mercury. We love my tuna salad. Although my husband will not eat any fish not fresh (he grew up in the Northwest) he did like this tuna. Most popular brands of canned tuna have so much liquid that what's left is half a can of fish. When I opened this can it nearly was dry pack, very little liquid and fresh. I dropped it out and broke it in two and made each a tuna and veggie plate. Delicious.

This is by far the best tasting tuna. You will not miss the sodium because of the great natural flavor, and it does *not* have icky-looking spots in it like other brands often have. I mean you can eat every bit of it. Add up the taste, the quality and that is responsibly fished and it is worth the price. I am totally hooked on this :)

Wild Planet only uses tuna that is young and has not had the time to acquire loads of mercury in the system, they also test the tuna so you can be reassured of its very low mercury content. But even more than that it is the most delicious canned tuna I have ever eaten and I love tuna! This company also has great concern for their impact on the ocean and values good fishing practices-also a reason to purchase their products. I can highly recommend this product and I know if you love tuna - you will LOVE Wild Planet.

This is a cut above any of the tuna you can buy in the grocery store. I will definitely reorder when it is gone.

What can I say about this tuna that hasn't been said already? Wild, unfiltered, and packed full of omega-3's that most commercial canned tuna lack. This is how canned tuna is suppose to be made in the first place.

As for the price, yes, it is quite expensive for 6 cans of tuna. But if you consider how much money we spend on useless junk every year, this minimum purchase would not seem so harsh.
