The Wild Planet Purse Pals are junk!,

This review is from: Wild Planet Purse Pals Poppy the Puppy (Toy)
These toys have a cool theoretical use - much like some other games (Sims, Taking Care of your pet on the Leapster Explorer), the theoretical purpose here is to interact with your pet and do different activities with it.Unfortunately, the sensors in this thing are flimsy, and pet does not properly activate them most of the time. Within a few weeks, the purse broke as well. This ends up being a complete waste of money, although my daughter did carry around other little trinkets in the purse before it broke. Sigh.

This item is cute, but does not work! It turns on and then shuts off even with brand new batteries. Waiting for call back from Wild Planet.Update: They called back quickly. I had to hit the grey reset button near the batteries. Now working! Satisfied!

Cute toy and worked well. The only problem is the pet is not attached to the purse and can be easily lost. This will not work without the pet. If the pet was attached I would give this a much higher rating. My grandaughter is 6 and she is constantly loosing the pet. I think this might be good for an 8 yr old or older.
