I bought this toy about a week ago. It has worked great ever since. When it is in safe mode, you put in a code on the keyboard. When it is in hacker mode, you guide the stylus through the maze, then match sounds. This is a great toy, I give it two thumbs up!!!

Hi i am writeing because people are complaining that it will teach thier kid to hack into a safe well i dont know about you but what kind of safe has a laser maze and a sonic tone identifier thats right no safes have a laser maze and a sonic tone identifier because its not preparing kids for a life of crime it makes them think criticaly its better then watching tv and another thing the fact that wild planet say that it is a SIMULATION also has something to do with my reasoning ands its funny because im a kid a i figured that out so people dont complain

My 8 year old is so excited about getting this toy for Christmas! This type of play has been around forever and I don't believe that it has led to the demise of our past generations. Parents that are freaking out....good parenting NOT a "spy safe cracker" will mess up your kids. CHILL OUT and have some FUN!!!!

this toy is awsome!! the only little problem is that with mine you have to tilt it a little for the safe to open. otherwise its really,really cool. there is nothing wrong with it. you should get one

P.S. no need to pry it open if it won't open with the "1" button, under the front bottom holder thingy there's a button to manualy open it DUH!& Shhhhhh!!!

It's fun because it showed me how to crack the moving codes and alarm codes. The safe part is pretty good but kind of bad thing is that you have to figure out what kind of code to open it with. If you don't know the code you can't open the safe so if you lose or forget your password you can't open it. You can reset it though.

We recommend this toy safe. Both of my boys own one. They say that the games are a lot of fun. They like the fact that it has a menu. You type in your secret code and that brings up the menu. They like the fact that it has a lot of numbers so that there are many different possible combinations that you could come up with. The one drawback is that the interior is small - it doesn't hold a lot of things. Also you have to reach behind it to turn it on. But overall, we would recommend it. My kids both own 3 safes each, and this is their favorite one.

Bought this for the grandsons for Christmas. They are having a blast with this especially since they also have the safe.

I bought this toy for my 9 yr old. He was very excited because he wanted this toy but had not been able to find it in any store. At christmas this toy got everyones attention. Everyone wanted to figure it out. I recommend this toy.

I got this for my son for Christmas in 2005 and it is something that he still plays with quite a bit. It is very sturdy and even after over a year of use, it is still in perfect condition. He now has his five year-old sister playing it too.

Wow- how funny are those who are so "appalled" by this TOY. I was cracking up when I read the review about the "Jr. Embezzler"!! I bought the toy for my son JUST because that review was so funny!!!! OOh- that was good!!! It was even more hilarious because I think they were serious!!
