This review is from: The Wild Pony (Pony Pals No. 9) (Paperback)
This book is great! It is about three girls that live in a small town and they have all kinds of adventures together! In this particular book Pam (one of the girls) finds a abandoned pony!!! It was wandering around on a property that nobody has lived on in about a year! It looks horrible! She has to help! She can't do it on her own so she asks her friends. The owner is going to sell her to the meat buyer!!!! Will Pam and her friends' save the pony? Can they?? Find out if they can save the beautiful black pony from death when you read "The Wild Pony" by Jeanne Betancourt.

Good, Somewhat Unrealistic,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Wild Pony (Pony Pals No. 9) (Paperback)
Aside from being not very realistic, this book is pretty good. It is well- written, suspenseful, and creative. I think the whole Pony Pals series is not very realistic. I am 12 and I have been riding since I was 6, but I still don't solve difficult problems with my friends. I solve small problems, like figuring out where my friend left her girth, but taming a pony or recovering stolen ponies? Give me a break!
This is a good book if you have a good imagination, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over the age of 15. In it, the pony pals find a "wild pony" that is loose around an abandoned house. They feed it and care for it to make it healthy and keep the pony from going to the meat packers, then find it the perfect home. This book is creative and fun for younger kids.

Try this book you will like it. I find it great. The Pony Pal books are the best kid's horse fiction books there are. They go 1-16 (coming soon # 17 Detetctive Pony). It also includes Super specials # 1,2, and 3.It is about three girls(Pam,Anna and Lulu ) who find a pony in some- one's backyard . The owner of the pony is careless enough to leave it for slaughter. Will the Pony Pals save the day? Read to find out!

WIld and Free,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Wild Pony (Pony Pals No. 9) (Paperback)
I think the book The Wild Pony is a really good book. It shows that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. It also shows that animals have feelings too. You can lose the trust with an animal but you can also gain that trust back if you try.
I think the author made the book fun and exciting and also created the characters really well. This is an adventurous book and other people can learn lessons from all of the author's books. It tells about situations that happen in real life.

Excellent!,
This review is from: The Wild Pony (Pony Pals No. 9) (Paperback)
I love all the Pony Pal books. This one is one of, if not, the best. I love how they don't give up trying no matter what happens. They are trying to save a pony who has been wild all winter and is undernourished. I am 18 and still love these books and I recommend them to whoever likes horses/ponies and mysteries.
