5.0 out of 5 stars Gorgeous story and made me laugh too!, July 3, 2011
This review is from: Wild Rose (Harper Monogram) (Mass Market Paperback)
I can't remember when I read such an exciting story. I loved Dane and felt so sorry for Maxine when he tried to change her. They were so real to me, and I was so glad they got together. Every time I had to stop and put that book down, I couldn't wait to get back to reading. Now I have to get the rest of this author's books

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming unique tale, September 28, 2011
This review is from: WILD ROSE (Kindle Edition)
"I can't remember when or if I've ever read a romance novel with such special, atypical characters. Maxine is both charming and cunning, innocent and yet wily somehow, and turns a phrase in such a way as to warm the coldest heart. The deliciously sexy hero, Dane, tries to be above it all when he gets involved with Maxine's family, but it's no use. She wins his heart as easily as she won mine."

5.0 out of 5 stars Historic California and wild, gorgeous characters!, June 24, 2011
This review is from: WILD ROSE (Kindle Edition)
Wild Rose is a really wonderful book. I so enjoyed the characterizations, and the dialogue in the vernacular made for a very enjoyable read. Not to mention the story was also very romantic...that half-Spanish hero in the historical California setting, yummmm.
