Ok game for tailgating,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Original Tailgate Toss (Sports)
We bought this game for tailgating at NFL games. It is ok, and since it comes in a carrying bag it is very easy to load and unload before and after the game. There are some negatives I need to share:1) The game is lightweight and so are the bags. This is good and bad. Good because it is easy to bring to the game and bring home, but bad because the entire boards bounce when the bags hit it, and with the lightweight bags they are not easy to throw in the wind. 2) The legs are on there with 1 simple screw and nut. After about 10 games 2 of the 4 legs fell off and I was not able to find the screw to fix it. Granted this is an easy fix, just annoying. 3) If you plan to learn to play this game the correct way, the holes are slightly too big and as mentioned before the bags are too light. No big deal if you don't care about playing under the exact rules.

EXCELLENT Quality!!!,
By
This review is from: Original Tailgate Toss (Sports)
I read all of the reviews I could find on this, most of which were awful. I kept an open mind and went to the local sporting goods store to check it out for myself. Thank God I did!!! I purchased on 05/28/2011. I cannot say how earlier releases of this game were made, but the one I bought is of excellent quality! The boards are heavy wood, with a strong supporting frame underneath (see pics). I had a hard time lifting them up to the checkout counter and I'm not a weakling. They are in no way flimsy or lightly constructed. They do not fold in half as some of the cheaper versions I've seen. The bags have a nice weight that have withstood the windy weather today. The legs are about 1 1/2" square wood and very sturdy. This set was on sale, too, which only added to the attraction. I highly recommend this game! The one I purchased does have a logo on it but it is definitely made by "Wild Sales". I am posting couple of pictures to further illustrate the quality workmanship!

Tailgate Garbage,
This review is from: Original Tailgate Toss (Sports)
This product is absolute garbage. I previously had a Baggo bag set that lasted my college career and about 4 years after I graduated. When I finally decided to retire my venerable old Baggo set I found this product. I thought, "It's cheaper than Baggo and appears to be made of wood? I'll give it a shot."When I received the product and opened the box I found 2 boards, 7 blue bags and 2 red bags. Obviously, quality assurance is not one of this company's strong suites. I tossed (no pun intended) a blue bag aside and drew big a big "X" on two others. Finally, after much haggling from my friends we started our game with 4 blue bags, 2 red bags and 2 blue bags with an "X" on them. Our game started quickly and points were being tallied by both sides. About half way through the game one box started to lean on one side. On the next throw the leg on the left side broke off. "Awesome.", I thought and threw the entire set into the camp fire. $60 and I couldn't even finish the first game. Do yourself a favor. Build your own box set or find another product. This one is absolute garbage.
