I had looked forward for this book to come out for some time now and I was not disappointed. It's hot, steamy, sensual, erotic and sexy plus it made me think.
It has great detailed information written in an easy to understand and enjoyable language, which turns me on while reading it. And many question that have come to my mind over the years, she answered them in her delightful way.
It is something for the beginner in the Kink world, the curious and the advanced; there is something in it for about everyone, even if you are just interested in steaming up your love life.
Midori is powerful and sensual in her writings and I would highly recommend this book.

If you are intelligent, sensual, and yes, even spiritual, this is a wonderful collection of essays by a thoughtful, wise, self-actualized woman. I am merely a voyeur to the world of BDSM, but her descriptions of fetish worship, empowerment of women, treatment of others, sexual freedom all spoke to me, and were applicable in other avenues of my life. I highly recommend this book to all explorers, whether their explorations are conducted from the safety of a large, overstuffed armchair in front of a fireplace, or from the tethered confines of rope or the metal clasp of handcuffs... It feeds your mind, your imagination, your soul, and is also educational. Midori is a treasure.

Midori is a fantastic teacher of the arts of love and sexuality. I love her style. This book is not a how to, but lots of great sex education comes through. Loved it.

The psychology, aesthetics and philosophy of erotic power exchange, D/s and S&M. Written with wit, imagination and intelligence. For someone new to BDSM it may help with self-acceptance and confidence. For all levels it may enhance your own understanding of what it is that we do.

Very interesting book to read. It is divided into 4 parts. I found the first one very dry. I was afraid I would not enjoy the rest. But from part 2 and on it became a much more personal series of essays. I think one can only really understand what she writes if they already know the scene. not the best book for a beginner. Midori challenged certain beliefs I had and made me think deeper on others. Very phylosophical at times, sexy and titillating at others. Smart throughout!

This is a spectacular compilation of essays on a variety of topics by one of the most gifted authors in the realm of sexuality.

Love this book. It will give you so many ideas to try and explain a few things;)

Midori is a pretty classy lady with a lot of style, and I enjoy her writing quite a bit. In terms of content, this book is fun, informative, and thought-provoking.

However, I was very disappointed to find this book peppered with typos. It was terribly distracting, and, for essays that have appeared in print before this book, it seems like these errors should have been caught before the book was published. I hope future printings can eliminate these errors.

A lovely cover. Promising even. Then the 'essays'. I couldn't tell one from the other as the message was the same and, after the first two essays, thanks Midori, I got the message and felt no desire to read any further. The book was somewhat amusing, not educational as Midori wrote of things we can figure out without her input. I found it a ;et down. With the title beginning "Wild Side Sex:', I found no wild side sex at all. There are much better books on this topic than this one.
