Not a household name among US songwriters of the 60's this collection demonstrates the diversity in music & styles that Taylor brought to the table. There is a soulful thread to many of these accessible pop songs that makes it a most enjoyable set. 'Wild Thing' is the most famous composition but, although distinctive, in my view is one of the weaker cuts & certainly atypical of the work represented here.
