Fancy, a mid 70's band, were a cool rocking band that never got their due. They had somewhat large hits with both "Wild Thing" and "Touch Me", not the Doors tune. In fact, Soundgarden did a remake of Touch Me, but lead singer Anne's vocals make this the superior version. Not all tunes are great, but the majority hold up well with time. Believe it or not, drummer Les Binks went on to join Judas Priest!!! The second album, "Turns You On" is slightly different than "Wild Thing", with a bluesier edge, sort of like Suzi Quatro's "Your Momma Won't Like Me", especially with the use of horns. Definitely worth checking out.

When you can take The Troggs hit "Wild Thing" and make it your own you must be doing something right. "Touch Me" of course was their other major hit. There are quite a few other worthy tunes on this album. Some are the vocals of Helen Fancy Court, some are by Anne Kavanagh. Most are highly listenable.
