The music is so addictive and something that I always find myself putting on in the car when I'm driving just to the store.

This is probably the most under-appreciated movie soundtrack of the last ten years. The music lifted the movie from merely "pretty good" to "very good," and the CD is flawlessly produced. On a good stereo system, it sounds like George Clinton is right there in your listening room! If you listen carefully, at one point you'll hear a few bars of the music from Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" -- a sly hint that the movie itself is closely patterned on Hitch's favorite theme of the ordinary man caught in a web of deception. A truly excellent disc; its only flaw is that it's too short. As others have noted, some of the music used in the soundtrack does not appear on the CD, and I have to wonder why. Oh, well, it's still a great CD. Rent the movie first and then buy the soundtrack!

The reason I love this soundtrack so much is because firstly, I quite liked the movie, but secondly (and mainly) I love haunting music and this is it. When I first saw the movie at the theatre, I was struck by the haunting humming and the funky music. This is a great soundtrack. Idealy it's not really the kind you listen to all the time, but it's enjoyable to listen to every now and then when you want to relax. It's great.

I Just bought this soundtrack yesterday and i have finished it already. First of all George S. Clinton has created a fitting theme with this film first of all it suits the setting of the music down in the bayou in flordia. But what i like the most is the Main Title which is a very unique track. If you loved this movie as much as i did then i would go out and buy it.

I really enjoyed listening this CD, but it left out a song that was in the movie- "I Want What I Want" by Lauren Christie. Leaving that out was a no-no....otherwise pretty good, though.

If you like hot sexy music, this is the soundtrack for you! Done very understated but the music delivers. I am a singer..., and I know good soundtracks when I hear them, and this is one of the best. Don't be shy, get it while it's HOT! And before it goes out of print. And check out the film too. Music and film one of the best, end of story.

Clinton caught not only the mood of the movie, but of South Florida. Hot, steamy and with danger in the air. Excellent music to sit back, sip a tall one and dream that I am back home again.

I have had the wildthings soundtrack CD on my shelf collecting dust for years. While in the process of weeding out some CDs, I replayed this disc. WOW! It is a Class A recommendation.

The musical style is a cross between that found in 50's noir films and the beat of Miami Vice and is mostly instrumental. A wonderfully jazzy high impact sound with room filling bass. The sound is clean and dynamic with pounding drums that begs for no holds barred on the volume control. The music has a common theme but is also surprisingly varied with drums, horns, strings, and clear vocals. This disc will open up any sound system it is played through.

Wildthigs should be among the top 10 CDs for audio system analysis, and is just plain fun. I will be reaching for this disc more often in the future.

I just purchased this CD and I have to say its like no other I've ever heard. The music is so addictive and something that I always find myself putting on in the car when I'm driving just to the store. I really enjoyed George S. Clinton's tracks on this CD. Just the eery music score is something that you don't find all the time and I really enjoy listening to this CD as much as possible. Now that I have the CD it seems the movie is on cable tv all the time. I still enjoy the music anyway. This is a "must have" cd for your collection.
