This CD is packed with activities based on the Wild Thornberrys of Nickelodeon. While some of the arcade-ish games are clunky and unintuitive, many are entertaining. There are three activities to play in adventure mode where children rescue animals and Eliza from poachers. There are seven mini games, too. Children help Donnie guide a baby elephant to its mother by adjusting arrow pointers in a maze, for instance, and assemble tough sliding and jigsaw puzzles of scrambled Thornberry scenes. There are three additional games for two players: crab and zebra races and a maze competition. The adventure/story mode is not tied together well and kids weren't always sure how to play some of the games. Testers told us that it took a while to figure out the card mini-game, for instance, although they enjoyed it anyway. All things considered, this CD offers a fun set of logic and arcade games that maintain a bit of the flavor of the excellent Wild Thornberry cartoons.
