Rusty switched gears and pulled off another hit. He has compiled a collection of 8 tales of the supernatural. (One is also in his 1st Bigfoot book). From seeing into one's future to unexplainable help from beyond the grave - from dinosaurs to Alaskan bush pilots, these stories will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you anxiously anticipating Rusty's next release. Settle in with some comfort food and enjoy.

This is a slightly different set of tales from master story teller Rusty Wilson. It does include a bigfoot tale (one that was in a previous book), included here because it is spooky. The others are haunting, heartbreaking, funny and poignant. Rusty truly has a gift of putting you in someone else's shoes, from various points of view and making stories come alive. They will stay with you after you have finished the book. All of Rusty's books are highly entertaining and addictive. You are left wanting more. Enjoy this set of campfire tales and check out Rusty's signature bigfoot tales in his other books, they are well worth your time. Even if you don't believe in the big guy, I believe you will enjoy his tales. They hold up so well even re-reading them later is still a joy. If you enjoy his books (I have 10 & love them!), stop by his blog page for surprises and say hello, he loves to hear from fans.

“Wild & Weird Campfire Stories” is another of several similar anthologies by Rusty Wilson. Unlike the majority of his books, this one doesn’t feature any Bigfoot stories, just an eclectic collection of ghost stories. It features a ghostly Canadian Mountie, Alaskan Bush Pilot, back country skier and avalanche survivor, prehistoric ghosts, a ghostly hitchhiker, and others. Whether there is any truth to these stories, I leave up to you to decide. One thing is sure: the campers relating these stories certainly believed they were true. Regardless of their veracity, they are quite entertaining, especially when shared around a campfire at the close of another hard day of outdoor activity.
Rusty Wilson is a professional fishing guide, familiar with much of the western United States. One of his hobbies is collecting campfire stories told by his many clients. A surprisingly large number of these tales involve a Bigfoot encounter, but Bigfoot, ghost, or plain old grizzly bear, all the tales he has included in his books are exciting and entertaining. This book is no exception. It includes 8 more stories Rusty has collected over the years, presented here for your enjoyment. You don’t have to believe in ghosts, or Bigfoot, or even grizzly bears for that matter, to kick back and enjoy these tales. And who knows… maybe, somewhere in the deep recesses of your mind, you’ll have just a little twinge of something that will make you wonder if, in fact, there might not be just a smidgeon of truth to at least some of these tales. If nothing else, they are sure to make you want to keep checking over your shoulder next time you go camping and hear a twig snap in the woods...
