Thinking of Montana brings to mind rough rugged cowboys, vast open spaces, hot summers, and long cold winters - the perfect setup for romance. Add a coffee house called Lemon Espresso, three intelligent women from the city and three very determined cowboys and you have the makings for a rockin' good time and a book you won't be able to resist.

A MAN'S WORD IS HIS BONDAGE
Gabe could have lived without being dragged into the Lemon Espresso for a poetry reading but that's exactly where he finds himself thanks to his friends Chet and Reuben. He just knows he's never going to live it down if somebody they know actually saw them come into this place. The experience couldn't be worse - until Willow Daniels takes the stage and he just knows that she's the one for him.

Willow's poem speaks volumes to Gabe but leaves him wondering if her seductive poem means that she wants a man who can fulfil her erotic invitation with words - or a man who can back them up. He aims to find out. Willow has no doubt that Gabe is exactly what she wants in a man but she's due to leave in two weeks to return to her responsible, safe job . . . maybe it's time to take some risks and experience the thrill of loving a cowboy?

Oh my! This story had my whole body tingling by the time I'd read half way through it. There's something undeniably hot about Gabe's sexual technique - the combination of words and deed is exciting to say the very least and leaves readers more than satisfied.


READY TO PLAY
Jolie McIntyre spent years working her way through college and then law school and in all that time she had virtually no social life. She's got some time off before she's due to take the bar exam and enjoys her job at the Lemon Espresso. Besides, now she has time to play and she fully intends to make up for lost time - even has a cowboy picked out to satisfy her pent up desires.

Chet Andrews doesn't even try to hide his attraction to Jolie. He delights in sparing with her over her `reckless driving' and whatever else he can think of to get her dander up. She presents a challenge to him - one he doesn't intend to resist. Verbal sparring and a series of bets and challenges start off their relationship on an interesting foot with some toe curling outcomes.

Chet's protective personality is enough to make a girl's heart melt in this story. I loved the raw emotions between Chet and Jolie and the vulnerable scenes endeared both characters to me. Of course the sex between them is undeniably hot and well worth rereading many times over.


REUBEN'S RULES
Former Army Ranger turned sheep rancher Reuben Black approaches everything in life with military precision. He's been entranced with Laura Jamieson, the coffee shop owner, since the day he first saw her and has made it his personal mission to capture her heart. He begins the siege in earnest with the words "I can give you what you need."

Owning and operating the Lemon Espresso has been a dream come true for Laura. She experienced the more violent side of humanity while working at her last job and she doesn't trust easily. She's been fantasizing about Reuben ever since he first started coming into her coffee shop but she never imagined he'd have the same sexual appetite as she does.

Just when I thought this book couldn't get any hotter - it does! Reuben is easy to love. He's powerful and dominating while at the same time gentle and sensitive, you've got to love that in a man. Laura is one very lucky woman and I almost envy her.

Charlene Teglia's WILD WILD WEST is one scorchingly hot book that is sure to leave readers panting for more. With lovable characters, emotional situations, unforgettable sex scenes, and dialogue that is sure to curl your toes you definitely need to pick up a copy of this book. Charlene Teglia is a talented author who has several e-books released through various publishers but this is her first straight to print book and I have to say, if I wasn't a fan before I most emphatically am now.

By the way, there's a sneak peek at Ms. Teglia's February 2008 release, SATISFACTION GUARANTEED, at the end of this book that looks just as delectable as WILD WILD WEST. I can hardly wait!

I bought this book based on the other reviews. I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as they did though. I will give the author an A for very likable characters. I felt she did a very good job making the heroines strong without them coming off immature and bratty.

My major disappointment with this book was Reuben's story. He's described as having a "taste for edgy sexual games". I'm sorry, but putting a collar on someone and telling her to spread her legs, repeatedly, just doesn't seem edgy to me. Her fantasy is to be a submissive? What's she submitting to, exactly? Vanilla. Vanilla. Vanilla. Gabe had more kink in his story.

A Man's World is His Bondage

Gabe Wilson and his two friends Chet Andrews and Reuben Black, are in the Lemon Espresso Coffeehouse when Willow Daniels steps on stage and recites a lusty poem, capturing Gabe's attention. The sparks that ignited between them burn even hotter when they meet in the parking lot. Gabe thinks Willow is his perfect match; her passion and obedience in bed are just what he's been looking for, but Willow might need some convincing.

A Man's World is His Bondage is smoking hot! I love Gabe; he is sexy and charming and Willow is a sweetheart. It's a great story.

Ready To Play

Jolie McIntyre hasn't had much time for men; she's been in law school and is now about to take the bar exam. When Jolie decides to make the time, she sets her sites on Chet Andrews, even though they argue every time they see each other. Chet is more than willing to have some hot sex with sexy Jolie. He intends to make it last a lot longer than one night though.

Chet and Jolie are great together in Ready To Play. The sex is sizzling and the romance is really tender.

Reuben's Rules

Laura Jamieson owns the Lemon Espresso Coffeehouse in Missoula Montana. Reuben Black has been coming in her shop for coffee and idle chit chat for some time now, but things change when Laura needs help with a bag of coffee and Reuben helps her, then offers so much more.

Reuben's Rules is full of steamy, sex. Reuben is a very sexy and dominant man, and Laura is his perfect submissive.

There are 3 novellas here with smart city women and hot cowboys. The author sets the scene up well and has a good knack for dialogue. The banter and sexual tension are great. The plots are simple but suit the erotic romance format. Note: There are no menages, infidelity or abuse in this book.

4 stars for the first story. I liked how Gabe the cowboy cringed at the thought of anyone seeing him attend a poetry reading at a yuppie coffeehouse. Willow was gutsy and went after what she wanted. The chemistry between them was good and the sex scenes were hot.

5 stars for the second story. Jolie wants a fling before settling into corporate life as a lawyer. Chet wants more than just a fling. He was my favorite of the heros. He was protective and encouraging to her. I loved the lengths he went to to make Jolie his for good. Smokin'!

3 stars for the third story. This was my least favorite. Reuben and Laura are both practical and controlled. No doubt that makes them a good match but it also makes for a boring story. To her credit, the author foresaw this and introduced BDSM as a way to spice up their romance. Unfortunately she didn't go far enough. A collar is all well and good but where's the spanking, the toys? Laura remains far too cool and controlled in her submissive role. Reuben is dominating but seldom does more than tell her to open her legs. There's a lot of verbal foreplay but the sex itself is brief.

Despite the disappointing finish, I still recommend this book for a scorching erotic read. Hmmmm, cowboys.

WILD WILD WEST is my very first erotica romance. Don't get me wrong, I've read some pretty darn steamy romances. With Charlene Teglia's book, I actually walked away with more knowledge than I started. And it's not a book you can read all in one sitting, at least not for an amateur like me. This book is like rich imported chocolate. It needs to be taken in small bites and savored.

The story begins with three Montana cowboys. Let me stop there so I can add a "mmm mmm good." They stop in at the Lemon Espresso, a little city-style coffeehouse. It's not coffee these cowboys are after though. Gabe has his eye on Willow, a poet who's giving a reading that evening. Chet Andrews has his radar on Jolie McIntyre and Reuben Black knew Laura Jamieson, the coffee shop owner, was the one for him. He'd known this since the day he first saw her.

Each couple has their own private, steamy story to share. Three stories. One book. A must read for romance fans.

Eh - not my style, but this wasnt terrible.
I know this type of material is HIGHLY subjective, so I am hesitant to be in any way critical...
I do think that objectively there were problems...
The rampant condom use was not to my liking. Dont we have to do enough of that in real life, that maybe if it were omitted from FANTASY / FICTION it wouldnt be the end of the world, the start of a new baby boom, or the turning point in losing the war against STDs...

The 3 Hardened Cowboys who ask permission for everything (especially the "S&M" cowboy) didnt seem in character. All 3 are the same cowboy with only the faintest veneer change - the girls were pretty interchangeable too come to think of it - ass tat notwithstanding.
Also, the one story REALLY bothered me, where the couple has had sex twice in an hour already, and she blows him in the shower, and he is done in like a minute. Anybody here had sex 3 times in rapid succession? The 3rd time is going to take awhile. Better pack a lunch.

Maybe I was supposed to come into this knowing more about the author, or their style, but sometimes I just grab something and see how it goes. I dont think I will grab this author again - but it should be great for anyone looking for a sexually explicit romance novel.

The sexual tension between Reuben and Laura was so thick, it was palpable. The stories blend seamlessly, making for a magnetic and thoroughly erotic read. Print fans will discover what e-Book readers have long known: Charlene Teglia is one scintillating author.

WOW! I've always had a weak spot for men in tight jeans and cowboy hats and these cowboys know how to complete a pass and go for extra yardage.

The stories are steamy, the dialogue is hotter than hot, and sexual tension abounds. These cowboys can leave their boots under my bed anytime!
