About the Author

Mackenzie McKade Born and raised in Arizona, I guess you’d call Mackenzie a desert rat. Well, actually, she’d be a desert rat who loves the mountains and lakes. Arizona gives Mackenzie great pleasure, because if she’s not at the computer writing or buried nose deep in a book you’ll find her on a four-wheeler, or a jet ski, or being pulled behind her 26’ Monterey boat on an oblong tube called a ‘hot dog’ laughing her ass off. In fact, Mackenzie’s family says she has an unnerving cackle cutting through the waves–similar to a witch! As writing is a passion with many—it’s an obsession with Mackenzie. Who knew that someone would actually read the wild things going on in her head? But she’s thankful you do and hopes you find joy and entertainment in her sometimes—okay most of the time—risqué ramblings. Find more about Mac’s books at www.MackenzieMcKade.com. Cathryn Fox Cathryn is a wife, mom, sister, daughter, and friend. She loves dogs, sunny weather, anything chocolate (she never says no to a brownie) pizza and red wine. She has two teenagers who keep her busy with their never ending activities, and a husband who is convinced he can turn her into a mixed martial arts fan. Cathryn can never find balance in her life, is always trying to find time to go to the gym, can never keep up with emails, Facebook or Twitter and during it all tries to write page-turning books her readers will love. Find more about Cathryn’s books at www.CathrynFox.com. Nikki Duncan Heart stopping puppy chases, childhood melodrama and the aborted hangings of innocent toys are all in a day’s work for Nikki Duncan. This athletic equestrian turned reluctant homemaker turned daring author, is drawn to the siren song of a fresh storyline. Nikki plots murder and mayhem over breakfast, scandalous exposes at lunch and the sensual turn of phrase after dinner. Nevertheless, it is the pleasurable excitement and anticipation of unraveling her character’s motivation that drives her to write long past the witching hour. The only anxiety and apprehension haunting this author comes from pondering the mysterious outcome of her latest twist. Find more about Nikki’s books at www.NikkiDuncan.com.

Wild in Whispering Cove (Whispering Cove, #1)
This is a really interesting anthology, each story is written by a different author but follows the same timeline in a small Maine town.

The story reminded me of the Harlequins I grew up reading. Very sweet and endearing, plenty of comedy from the three old men. Not a lot of surprise here, it stayed fairly true to the old formula.

The big difference was the steam!! Holy hot and heavy! If my old romances had smexy scenes like these I never would have stopped reading them! These two are seriously combustible!

The split narrative is great and very clearly established. You never have to wonder whose POV you are reading. While I really liked Brody, Andrea was too cold most of the book. The love story just felt a touch hollow at times.

It definitely draws you into the series and I am now eager to see what happens with the other two couples. You get a few hints throughout this book as to what will happen next. I am wondering how the grandfathers bet will pan out!

Wet in Whispering Cove (Whispering Cove, #2)
Another reunited love story. This one is also very Harlequin-esque, except for loads of smexy stuff!!!
I liked Katy and Trent a lot more than the first couple in the series.

Katy is fun and sassy, but she has made mistakes in he past. Trent was a bit of a punk in my opinion. If the girl you love leaves you to find a career you should not give up and become a playboy. The resolution was a touch simple in my opinion. The writing was very well done and the pace flowed nicely. It just felt too rushed in the events, more time would have made the story more believable.

Wild, Wet and Wicked in Whispering Cove is sweet, sassy and sexy! This is a really fun romantic romp with an interesting coastal setting and characters that are fun to read about. The backdrop of the high school reunion and the involvement of the families in the romance makes the love stories universal and endearing. This would make a great summer beach read, but also wasn't bad as a cozy by the fire read as well. If you like steamy romances, this one's for you!
