Animal Safari is a superbly produced, eight volume video series showcasing a variety of wildlife around the world and narrated by Karla Majewski. Wild World Habitats (38 minutes) introduces five special animals: a sulfur-crested cockatoo, an African pygmy hedgehog, a Nile Monitor, a lemur, and a llama. Animals Of The Amazon (40 minutes) features a scarlet macaw, a tarantula, a squirrel monkey, an iguana, and a boa constrictor. Born in a Barnyard (31 minutes) showcases the daily activities of bunnies, chicks, ducklings, a miniature horse, a six-week old baby goat, and a potbellied pig. Creep Critters (32 minutes) reveals how friendly bugs, spiders, millipedes, centipedes, scorpions, and frogs can be! Tongues, Tails and Scales (51 minutes) introduces turtles, tortoises, a bearded dragon lizard, an alligator, and a Burmese python snake. Animals and Man (33 minutes) is about man's relationship with animals throughout the ages as represented by a chinchilla, llama, capuchin monkey, and a North American opossum. Wild Wetlands (33 minutes) is about how tarantulas, tree frogs, caiman turtles, hermit crabs and snakes help to maintain and balance wetland ecosystems. Exploration Dinosaur (26 minutes) explores the connection between dinosaurs and certain modern day creatures such as an emu, a macaw, and a tegu. Each of these colorful, fun and informative videos is available separately [...], but school and library systems are highly recommended to acquire the entire eight volume series for their students and patrons.
