1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't Take, A Waste of Money
Nothing took following the directions very carefully and doing as suggested. We got two tiny sprouts that died in seconds. Don't waste your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flowery Plants Attract butterflies and Bees, May 8, 2011
This review is from: Wildflower Butterfly Mix - 1000+ Seeds
In order for these seeds to take root, the area planted must be prepared properly. All competing grasses and plants must be removed with an application of Round Up or similar product. Once the area is devoid of any green growth, till the soil to a depth of about 2-3 inches and then rake smooth. Distribute the seed (best to use a planter device rather than scatter by hand), and then water every day lightly until the seeds germinate and emerge. Then water every other day until established. Once established, the plants are fairly hardly and do not require any extra watering unless there is a prolonged drought. These will bloom in the first year if planted early enough. I have converted smaller areas of the yard to wildflower areas. It adds color to the landscape, attracts butterflies and bees, and is a non-maintainance area once established. Try a small patch to begin with and then expand as desired. These plants do best in full sun or limited partial shade.
