It plays, August 19, 2011
I have this DVD and it plays fine on my U.S. blu-ray Panasonic blu-ray player. The region code is listed as "All," so it can be played anywhere.
The concert almost looks like it was filmed at a dark nightclub, but it was actually filmed at the historical music venue called Shepherd's Bush Empire in London. It was formerly used as a theater and holds 2000 people.
It was filmed in 1996, and I noticed two things. Since it was filmed almost 15 years ago, Sheryl Crow and her band look very young, almost fresh and new, although they've probably been playing long enough to be quite tight and professional. My other observation is that Ms. Crow's inflections on some words are different so that this old concert gives a new take on Ms. Crow's earlier singing career.
You hear a few of her popular songs, but not all, as this is a little closer to the beginning of her career. There is a full complement of other songs that you may not have heard before now, on this full concert.
The video quality of the DVD is almost the same (or the same) as the newer DVDs. So it looks fine or ok on 1080 high def TV. But because the stage is usually dark, the darkness, (as one would expect), lends itself to be grainy.
So if you want to see a young Sheryl Crow and her young band perform in London, come and buy this DVD. You also get to see Ms. Crow playing the accordion on "Strong Enough," and Eric Clapton doing his guitar thing on "Ordinary Morning". There's also a jukebox option that allows you to choose and play your favorite songs.

Sheryl Crow Live From London, August 18, 2010
The previous review is incorrect. This item does in fact play in Region 1 players. I am actually watching it right now! It is an awesome concert. Sheryl's voice sounds fantastic and the whole band has a great energy. The DVD itself has a lot of audio options (Dolby 5.1, DTS 5.1, and 2 Channel Stereo LPCM) as well as a nice selection of extras including Jukebox and Audio Only options, a Sheryl Crow Interview, and two music videos. I would hightly recommend this DVD for any Sheryl Crow fan, especially those who favor this era of her career.

Mine didn't work either! Be careful!, November 17, 2011
Mine didn't work either! Be careful! I also tried it on my Panasonic Blu-ray player. I ordered my copy which shipped from Portugal and was not for use in the US (region 1) as described in the product details (all regions), see my customer image above. My copy states regions 2 - 6. Are there several region specific versions? I could use software solutions (AnyDVD) but I shouldn't have to resort to such illegal methods for a 20$ DVD. I'll try to return it the vendor & post back.
