5.0 out of 5 stars A feast for the eyes and readable text., September 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country (Paperback)
Excellent photography is a real treat; the fine details of each plant are a real help in identification. The text is well-organized and nicely written. The book answers many of my I.D. questions about many S. TX herbaceous plants which have all but disappeared. Wildscapers and nature lovers will find this book to be "user-wonderful."

5.0 out of 5 stars Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country, April 2, 2004
This review is from: Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country (Paperback)
This is a must have field identification book for the Austin and Hill Country area. Although it is out of print, and the auther is not interested in a reprint at this time, some books are available in the Austin area and at online booksellers yet. This is a great book for new and experienced wildflower enthusiasts, with great photos and id information, Latin family names, and other interesting features for a wide variety of people who enjoy wildflowers.
