I jam with a country group and this song was introduced to me. Once I learned it, I can't get it out of my head. Dolly has her own individual style which makes her a #1 hit. Emmylou Harris sings a lot of Dolly's songs and sometimes you can't tell the difference.

This song tells a great story of life. So many people can relate to being the "wild" flower. The song was on that Trio album but was not published anywhere else that I could find. Thank goodness for the Amazon Player. It was a good album but I just didn't want all the songs.
