About the Author

John Rieth has been taking photos of fire trucks since he was 9 years old, after his father got him hooked. He went on to receive an Associate Degree in Fire Science and a Bachelor of Fire Service Management. Today he is an Observer for the Forest Fire Service of New Jersey and an active member of several volunteer fire departments. John has contributed to many of the fire apparatus magazine articles, as well as pictures ad information for many books on fire apparatus, and has authored a few of his own through Iconografix.

This book is somewhat ok , but some of the info is wrong. Years and makes of some of the vehicles are incorrect. If you're going to write a book,get your facts straight.
