A lot of talent and hard work obviously went into this album. I for one am grateful to the artists for sharing it. I stumbled upon Tangerine a few months ago and grabbed it almost entirely because it was free. What a lucky find! I think I listened to it twice before I started searching for other music by the same band.
I’m not sure I can think of enough good things to say about these songs. There are several that make you want to get up and dance. Several that make you want to stop and simply listen. The lyrics are poetic and the overall sound inspired. Their voices are wonderful, too I mentioned I was a fan, right?
Here’s what you do – Buy it. Love it. Thank me later.

Like a perfect (musical) date, this album keeps you hooked from start to finish and leaves you craving more. These brothers are doing stuff no other bands even attempt. Throwing down a classical piano solo in the middle of a catchy rock song? Yes please! The tracks are diverse but maintain a subtle theme that carries you throughout. Be sure to see them live when they come through your town. Their New York shows have been unreal all summer long.

These guys combine vastly different moods ("Darkness" is both somber and sort of optimistic all at once) and styles ("Spin" sounds a bit like Phoenix, if Phoenix had lots of jazz piano solos and lyrics that made sense), and make it all work together so smoothly you don't even notice the magic. You will be humming this bizness all week long, I swear. Quit reading reviews and get it! :)
