Humor and Theology Collide,
By Brandon Solberg (Riverside, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wildlife in the Kingdom Come: An Explorer Looks at the Critters and Creatures of the Theological Kingdom (Paperback)
If you have a love for theology and humor this book is for you. Taking some of the leading theological terms and groups of today, the two authors of this book have written a brief but humorous biography/history about each, portraying them as earthly animals within our earthy kingdom. Very witty but also very informative. J.I. Packer had this to say about it,"If you doubt whether many a true word is spoken in jest, this book will lay your doubts to rest. To see how the jokes match the theologies that produced them is truely laughable." This is a great book to relax to.
