5.0 out of 5 stars yep, definetly an amend, May 17, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Wildly FoxTrot : A FoxTrot Treasury (Paperback)
this is the coolest strip ever written! I enjoy it on an almost daily basis(they don't deliver the paper on mondays.) But back to the book, a family of five deals with the mom's mid-life crisis, the dad's football obsession, 10-year-old-boy's Einstienic brainpower, 14-year-old-girl's boy crazines, and 16-year-old-boy's amazingly bad driving skills. A true masterpiece of capturing the essence of suburbian life. Also try Calvin&Hobbes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bill Amend has done it again!, December 30, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Wildly FoxTrot : A FoxTrot Treasury (Paperback)
Bill Amend has created several treasuries, including "Enormously Foxtrot" and "Camp Foxtrot". This book is "wildly" hilarious and the rereading factor is greater than almost any other 'comic book that has ever existed in the past, say, 1999 years. If you buy it, you certainly will NOT regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is as good as the other FoxTrots, if not better., January 12, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Wildly FoxTrot : A FoxTrot Treasury (Paperback)
It is really neat, and since it is an older one you get to see what they used to look like. It still has the humor of the others and it is just as hilarious. I really recommend this book to any FoxTrot lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun, June 24, 2002
This review is from: Wildly FoxTrot : A FoxTrot Treasury (Paperback)
I can sit and read this book over and over and over and the jokes are just so funny. I find it quite odd but I can relate to Jason Fox in so many ways.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jason does it again!!!, October 11, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Wildly FoxTrot : A FoxTrot Treasury (Paperback)
Jason and the entire Fox family provide a wild ride of laughs through the hilarious ways of their life. Jason is just a little too smart for his own good and I think that you would enjoy this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A windfall for all FoxTrot fans!, June 26, 2009

Anthologies like Wildly FoxTrot are great ways to get your "comic fix." This one contains the Bill Amend comics from the smaller volumes, May The Force Be With Us, Please, and Take Us To Your Mall.

Some favorites from this collection:

Andy (mom) talking to Peter as he's reading the sports page at breakfast:

Andy - "Peter, are you ever going to write your history paper?!"
Peter - "Mom, relax. I'm one of those people who works best under pressure. If I wrote my paper way ahead of time, I'd probably do a lousy job. The way I see it, the longer I put it off, the better it'll end up being."
Andy - "It's your G.P.A. - pass the cornflakes."
Peter - "Heck, school doesn't start for another 43 minutes."

A big Sunday colored strip has Jason writing a letter, with friend Marcus watching:

[Jason's letter] - "Dear PBS, My name is Jason Fox and I'm 10 years old. After seeing 'Jurassic Park' I'm more convinced than ever Barney should be eating those kids. Yours most sincerely..."
Marcus - "I know I'd start watching the show."

Roger (dad) growing a beard, and talking to Andy:

Roger - "Wow - Feel it today!"
Andy - "Roger, I don't want to feel your beard, OK?"
Roger - "But it's poofier! Feel..."
Andy - "I don't care how poofy it is, I don't like it!" Look Roger, some men look good in a beard... some men look great in a beard... some men are positively irresistible in a beard... but you -..."
Roger - I'm not positively irresistible?"
Andy - "I can't speak for female sea urchins, of course, but-..."

And finally, Roger and Peter eating dinner:

Roger - "MMM - Honey, this is delicious! I mean, the sauce is out of this world! Boy, this is a far cry from the lasagna you used to make!"
Peter - "Dad, this is takeout."
Roger - "I mean, um, 'a far cry' in the different-but-equally-yummy sense..."
Peter - "The real question is how does your foot taste?"

And there's gobs more of Paige and Jason as well!

You can't go wrong with an anthology like this.
