Database Textbook
Book was as described, had a lot of useful and important fundamentals and information. Didn't open the book for class much though.

good book i wish it had more
this is a good book with lots of great fundamentals. It is broken down very well into organized well detailed structure that builds on top of each other making it easy to progress. i wish it had more resources and critical thinking stimulating exercises. this book was used with MySQL supplementation, which worked out well.

Needed this for a database class,

I needed this book for a database class I was taking this semester for my MBA. I opened it once... it's decent if you're knew to databases (though it focuses on Microsoft Access and MS SQL Server ... would be better if it focused w/something that's free like MySQL), but with over 11 years interacting with databases, it was rather remedial.
