The best I have read on the I Ching and/or Taoism,
By A Customer
This review is from: Lectures on the I Ching: Constancy and Change (Bollingen Series) (Paperback)
This book is compiled from some of Richard Wilhelm's lectures on the I Ching and certain topics of Taoist thought. That might seem dry and uninteresting, but that is far from true. The series of lectures is thoroughly engrossing. This is the kind of book who's ideas slowling meld into your unconscious and affect your everyday perceptions. Wilhelm was probably the foremost english-language authority on the I Ching in his time and I believe this work continues to be an essential companion to anyone's study of the I Ching or of the development of Taoist ideas. I consider it an absolutely fundamental part of my library and do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in the subject matter.
