Since the release of this album back in 1988 I thought this man must be a genious. I've got a sample of this cd and right now, almost 14 years later, I still listen to every track of it. Excellent, smooth and a great performer. Will later on released more albums of this size and also the more jazzy kind. Personally I like this debut album more, and also the follow up "Come Together As One (1989)".

This is the original Will Downing classic. Will's version of "Free" is so smooth and soulful it brings back memories of the late Donny Hathaway. The whole album is a mix of jazz and soulful ballads. What can I say, everyone of Will Downings albums are wonderful, but this was his debut and it gives you a sample of what was to come over the next ten years. check out other titles by Will Downing, I promise, you will not be dissapointed.

While not as powerful as albums like "A Dream Fulfilled", "Moods" or "Love's The Place To Be" Will's self-titled debut CD includes such beautiful Quiet Storm gems as "Dancing In The Moonlight", "Free", "Do You?" and "Sending Out An S.O.S.". I highly recommend this CD to all Will Downing fans.

There is no C/D that Will Downing can make that wouldn't get 5 stars from me. This is and older c/d one of the only ones of his that I didn't have and couldn't find. Even than the classy smooth sound of his voice is soothing to my soul.
