The only reason I am even aware of this song is because of Stephenie Meyer's playlist for "Breaking Dawn". It hit me with a profound feeling of melancholy and suddenly tears were pouring down my face. I haven't had an artistic work move me in such a way in years, if ever. I'm a jaded 46YO, and thought myself to be far above this sort of reaction. I'm buying this album. Thanks, Stephenie, for your great taste in music, and for opening my eyes to it, but most of all many thanks to Death Cab for Cutie for reminding me I still had a soul.

This song is very beautiful, the lyrics are so poignant and thoughtful. I guess as most Death Cab songs are. The vocals are very "pretty" and every time I listen to the song, I get this feeling in the pit of my chest, almost bittersweet, thinking someone could feel that way about another person. OK, so emo!

I had to search everywhere to get a hold of this song. For some reason I even looked on flickr. I can't really say what I was looking for but this song struck me as being not in the slightest bit trashy. I felt like I was soaring like a bird the first time I heard this song, creating that feeling should be every artists duty. good luck.
