Filling the void left by the Beatles breakup., April 11, 2005

This unique split CD was a real treat for me. I picked it up expecting the usual punk fair but was soon made aware that there is space in the punk world for something cool and flavour-filled that does not sound like Bowling for Soup. Nobody Cares are more or less a competent Skate Punk band but once you hit the songs Chachi On Acid contributed you are in for an experience you won't soon for get. This CD will be stuck in your player for weeks and you'll be whistling while you work. Remeniscent of the Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Screeching Weasel, Black Flag, The Germs, and even a dash of Neil Young and Hank III. This is the new face of punk rock with humour and bite. Anger and love without the emo screamo baggage that should have been checked at the door. This is a lean mean rock n roll machine. Long live CHACHI ON ACID!
